After-School Culinary Program

The Fun Food Explorers After-School Culinary Program introduces kids to the joy of cooking while building essential life skills.

Through Hands-On Experiences, Children Learn:

Healthy Eating & Nutrition – Understanding fresh ingredients, balanced meals, and fun ways to enjoy fruits and veggies.

Basic Cooking Skills – Kitchen safety, measuring, mixing, knife skills (age-appropriate), and cooking techniques like baking and sautéing.

Cultural & Seasonal Recipes – Exploring foods from different cultures, cooking for holidays, and using seasonal ingredients.

Creativity & Food Presentation – Plating, decorating, and making meals fun and visually appealing.

Life Skills Development – Following directions, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication through cooking activities.

Fun & Engaging Experiences – Cooking challenges, food science experiments, and take-home recipes to encourage home cooking!
